Hey guys!
I got some great photos for you guys this week. Some of these photos should get awards! (at least in my opinion). One photo by Marc Dilley is an astonishing long exposure of a starry background behind a spring mountain top.
One of my favorite parts about this photo is the creamy look of the water seamlessly floating over the jagged misty rocks. I can easily say that Marc Dilley is my new favorite photographer. Definitely my favorite part of this photo is the streak of stars and light across the sky. Believe it or not, that is a picture of the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy! Yes, that galaxy 100 million light-years across that we live in! Crazy Right? I am very perplexed about how this photo was taken because normally when you take a long exposure photo of the night sky, the stars streak across because of the rotation of the Earth. Hopefully I can figure it out soon and then tell you guys.
